Transformation Delusion

Why we expect big results when we repeat the same old patterns... and how to change that.

In Transformation Delusion, I ask an important question for businesses and leaders: "Why do we expect big results, when we repeat the same old patterns, and how do we change that for our lives and our businesses?"

It's in response to what I've experienced working with hundreds of companies on major changes over the decades. And I've seen with major transformations, that many companies hit a point where the change they're trying to make doesn't give them the results they’re looking for.

To answer this, I looked at major companies and major change from the inside and from the outside to understand why. And I found that, to get transformation right, we have to start by understanding the patterns and then define the pattern breakers that work to make change at a business and organizational level. Because business is about people.

But many leaders have figured it out. In the upcoming Transformation Delusion book and podcast series, we're looking at the repeating patterns that cause people and their organizations to fall short of their transformational goals and the pattern-breakers that can help us reach our aspirations. Transformation Delusion is actionable wisdom from leaders, for leaders, and it looks at the company factors, leadership factors, and human factors that make the difference in getting the kind of transformational change you need.

The first step is understanding your personal and organizational patterns. Check out the overview video and the highlights below.
